Urban Cabin Los Angeles

From its rooftop position at ROW DTLA, this 15-square-meter Urban Cabin is inspired by and celebrates the amazing views over the LA skyline and surrounding hills. Built under the theme 'Grow', it celebrates nature as an integral part of city living. This is the third iteration of the MINI LIVING Urban Cabin project the car brand first launched in 2016, and will be the first of MINI’s commissioned installations to house overnight guests.

The studio looked to Southern California's warm climate and tradition of outdoor living for its design, incorporating panels that swung open. This allowed the bed to be rolled outside so the occupant could sleep under the stars, and windows to be formed in the otherwise closed facades.
